The Trek Wing is best suited for use with single cylinders of any size, and with lightweight to medium-weight double cylinders (a shorter air cell for shorter cylinders). The Trek Wing can accommodate up to two 85-cubic-foot/13 liter back-mounted cylinders. The Trek Wing is constructed from 1050 ballistic Cordura Nylon for extra durability and features our gusset-control cord, similar to that found on Rec, Dual Rec, and Super Wing. The Trek Wing is a good choice for divers whose time under water is divided between diving singles and lightweight doubles. They have also proven popular in areas such as Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, where local cave divers want an air cell that is well-matched in size to the double aluminum 80s which are popular in this region, and which does not allow large pockets of air to shift from side to side, the way larger air cells tend to do. Further, the Trek Wing is clearly the air cell for side mounting!
