The RS-130 combines the basic functions of the RS-110 with a breathing resistance adjustment function. It features glass fiber materials in the second stage for superior shock resistance as well as lighter weight and compactness. There is a major reduction in friction resistance of moving sections and air resistance in the housing for smooth, ideal respiration.

First Stage
Balanced piston type first stage (R-100)
The very popular balanced piston type first stage offers superior reliability for stable air supply regardless of depth or residual pressure. Maintenance is also a cinch. The first stage offers an extremely high limit value even for maximum operation values. There are two HP ports and four LP ports. The R-100 first stage features a unique patented inline layout to achieve a light weight of just 620 grams during actual use, in addition to its compact size.

Second Stage
Breathing resistance adjustment knob
Respiration rate and air consumption rate vary greatly while diving according to environmental conditions (water depth, current, etc.) as well as the skill and physical condition of the diver. A necessary condition for safe and pleasant diving is natural breathing in correspondence to the circumstance at any given time. With the S-40 and S-30 you simply rotate the flow adjustment knob on the side with its ideal click feeling for free control of the air supply volume according to your needs. The multiple thread screws permit speedy and fine adjustment from which you can appropriately sense resistance to exhaled air, to a condition in which you feel almost no resistance.

Purge button
The purge button features two types of materials: soft elastomer (RS-130) materials and conventional hard materials (RS-110 and SS-10). The hard materials are designed to realize ideal resistance and a secure push, which reduces the possibility of the purge button being pressed accidentally in strong currents. The soft purge button includes a stainless steel frame to ward off external shock and protect the demand lever and other essential parts.
